This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

SIGNIFICANT WINDS.
RISK...Limited.
    AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas
    ONSET...After Midnight

DISCUSSION...
It will be a cold start to the day with temperatures as low as 20
degrees and wind chill values in the teens and 20s. A Freeze
Warning remains in effect until 9 AM this morning. By this
afternoon, temperatures and associated `feels like` temperatures
warm into the 30s and 40s. Winds remain mostly light for much of
the day with high pressure over the region. However, southerly
winds increase overnight tonight as this high pressure system
departs. This results in gusts up to around 25 mph across eastern
Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
TUESDAY...High Wind Potential.
WEDNESDAY...No Hazards.
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...High Wind Potential.
SATURDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...High Wind Potential...
        ...Heavy Rain Potential.
SUNDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Gusty southwesterly winds persist across the forecast area
through the day Tuesday. These winds help to erode the colder air
and allow for a warming trend to develop Tuesday, with above
seasonal average temperatures for the second half of the week. Dry
conditions are likely through the work week. During the weekend,
a low pressure system is forecast to move into the Plains and
bring thunderstorm chances back to eastern Oklahoma and northwest
Arkansas. Severe weather cannot be ruled out, but there is
significant uncertainty in the pattern with minimal confidence on
any details.
