This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
RISK...Elevated.
AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and Western Arkansas.
ONSET...Now... through 5am.

DISCUSSION... Scattered thunderstorms will move across eastern
Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas tonight. Severe weather is not
expected. The stronger cells could produce small hail.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Spotter
Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
SATURDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...High Wind Potential.
SUNDAY...High Wind Potential.
MONDAY...Winter Weather Potential.
TUESDAY through THURSDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION... Any overnight storms will exit the area early
Saturday. A couple of additional storms are possible in southeast
Oklahoma and west-central Arkansas Saturday afternoon ahead of
strong cold front that will cross the area Saturday. Gusty winds
will occur both ahead of and behind the front.

A system will come into the area on Monday. Areas of light precipitation
will occur with the system. The most persistent wintry weather is expected
along and north of I-40, but a mix of wintry precipitation is possible
south of I-40, especially in the higher terrain areas.

Limited winter weather impacts are possible in the higher terrain and along and
north of I-40 where both a trace of ice and sleet accumulation and snow amounts from
a trace to an inch are currently forecast.

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PLANNING STATEMENT...
Emergency managers and public safety officials should continue to monitor the
last information. Winter Weather Advisories could be needed for parts of the area.
