This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

DISCUSSION...
Isolated thunderstorms are expected again this afternoon, mainly
in areas southeast of I-44. Severe weather is not expected and
storms will dissipate with the loss of heating.

Heat index values will once again reach mid 90s to around 101
degrees this afternoon.

Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
THURSDAY through TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
The summertime pattern will continue through the weekend before
the subtropical ridge shifts back to the western United States.
Daytime heat index values will remain in the 95 to 103 degree
range through Monday. A frontal boundary will slip into the
region early next week to provide a focus for more widespread
thunderstorms activity.
