EXTENDED DISCUSSION...

There are low chances for a light freezing rain across portions of
northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas beginning Monday morning
and continuing into the afternoon. Slick spots on bridges and
overpasses could occur if this precipitation materializes.
Relatively heavier precipitation from southeast Oklahoma into
west-central Arkansas is expected to result in some light icing,
especially in the terrain, where up to around a tenth of an inch
of icing is forecast before the precipitation ends Monday evening.
A band of light to moderate snow is expected to sweep across far
northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas during the afternoon and
evening. A dusting of snow accumulation is forecast near the
Kansas and Missouri borders with little if any travel impact.

Cold air in place behind a cold front Wednesday night may interact
with an approaching storm system from the southwest to yield some
wintry weather potential during the latter part of the week.
Confidence in the details are low at this point.
