Forecast is based on ignition time of 0800 MST on November 19.
.DISCUSSION...A storm system will bring rain showers and snow
showers today and exiting the area by middle of Thursday. Today,
high chances for rain showers throughout the day with embedded
thunderstorms during the early afternoon to late evening. This
will boost rainfall amounts and bring gusty erratic winds. By the
end of the day, rain showers will transition into snow showers,
lasting throughout Wednesday night into Thursday morning. The bulk
of the snow fall will occur during this overnight period.
Forecasted snow accumulations by Thursday morning will range 2 to
5 inches on the ridge tops around the project area. Winds will be
south-southwesterly with gusts up to 25 mph today becoming more
westerly tomorrow with speeds less than 15 mph.
