.DISCUSSION...Very warm and dry conditions are expected today.
Temperatures will climb into the 70s today, with possibly a few
80s in some spots. Across southwest to south central South
Dakota...the relative humidity will drop to 15 to 20 percent and
combine with gusty west winds supporting critical fire weather
conditions through the afternoon. A cold front later tonight will
bring slight chances for rain showers, mainly across northwestern
SD, but wetting rains are unlikely. Slightly cooler conditions are
expected for the weekend, with less wind and higher relative
humidity.
