.DISCUSSION...The main concern over the weekend will be the
extreme heat. Highs today through Sunday will be right around 100
in Gillette, with a heat index between 95 and 100. The rest of
today will be dry and mostly clear with no significant weather
expected.

For Saturday, another concern will be the potential for
dry thunderstorms. Isolated to scattered showers/storms will be
possible late Saturday morning into the evening. While there is
very little moisture expected with these storms. Dry lightning
will then be a concern for the potential to start fires. Also
given the environment, even small storms could potentially have
50-70 mph gusts if they`re near the area.
