.DISCUSSION...Wetting rain will move back into the area from the
north today and linger through this evening, diminishing
overnight. As the rain diminishes, temperatures will cool enough
to support snow, or at least a rain/snow mix, mainly after 1AM
but the switch could start a couple hours earlier. At this time,
snowfall amounts near the spot area will be less than one inch but
if the rain-to-snow switch happens earlier than expected,
snowfall amounts will be a little greater, at around two to three
inches for this area. The rest of the week is looking dry.

Westerly winds today will increase through the morning hours with
sustained afternoon winds at 15 to 25 mph, gusts near 40 mph.
Speeds will diminish overnight tonight. Lighter westerly winds
likely through Wednesday with speeds around 5 to 15 mph. Winds
will be light and variable Thursday before swinging back to the
west at 5 to 15 mph for Friday.
