.DISCUSSION...Hot today with highs of around 100. Afternoon humidities
will range from 21 to 27% with southerly winds of 10 to 15 mph,
gusting to 20 mph. Thunderstorms expected to develop near the fire
site after 1 pm with storm chances continuing through the evening
hours. Main concerns with storms will be gusty/erratic outflow
winds, lightning, and heavy rainfall.
Showers will continue overnight with humidities recovering to
90%. Total rainfall between this afternoon and overnight could
exceed 0.1". A cool front will cross the region tonight, strong
winds aren`t expected with this front but winds will be out of the
north tomorrow with slightly cooler highs and higher afternoon
humidities. Chances for storms return tomorrow afternoon with
primary concerns again being gusty/erratic outflow winds,
lightning, and heavy rainfall.
