.DISCUSSION...Elevated to near-critical fire weather conditions
expected today: temperatures warm into the mid 90s with minimum
RH falling to around 16 percent this afternoon. Southerly winds
will shift north after 1100 with gusts 20 to 25 mph through the
afternoon hours.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms this morning, lightning and
gusty winds the main threats.

Relative humidity will recover to around 70 percent tonight
into Saturday morning with northeasterly winds becoming
easterly overnight.

Daily thunderstorm chances persist through the weekend.
