449 FLUS43 KUNR 011629 HWOUNR Hazardous Weather Outlook National Weather Service Rapid City SD 1029 AM MDT Tue Apr 1 2025 SDZ024-025-WYZ057-021300- Northern Black Hills-Northern Foothills-Wyoming Black Hills- 1029 AM MDT Tue Apr 1 2025 This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northwestern South Dakota...the Black Hills of South Dakota...and the Black Hills of Wyoming. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight A strong weather systems will bring accumulating snowfall to the Bear Lodge Mountains and northern Black Hills, including the northern foothills, tonight into Wednesday morning. Several inches of accumulation will be possible, with 6 inches or more possible across the higher elevations of the northern Black Hills. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday The strong storm system will affect the northern Black Hills area through early Wednesday afternoon, before shifting east Wednesday evening. Another weaker system will move through the area Friday afternoon and evening, bringing light rain and snow to the area. A few inches of additional snowfall will be possible with this system. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Up to 2 inches of accumulation will be possible, mainly across northeast Wyoming and northwestern South Dakota. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday The strong storm system will affect the area through early Wednesday afternoon, before shifting east Wednesday evening. Another weaker system will move through the area Friday afternoon and evening, bringing light rain and snow to the area.
