This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western South
Dakota and northeastern Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Thunderstorms are possible tonight, mainly from northwestern into
south-central South Dakota. Small hail and gusty winds occur, but
severe thunderstorms are not expected.

Some Canadian wildfire smoke may move into the area Wednesday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

A dry cold front will move through the area Thursday leading to
gusty northwest winds Thursday afternoon and evening. Wind gusts
in excess of 40 mph are possible. Elevated fire danger is expected
due to minimum relative humidities dropping to the 20s in
combination with the gusty winds.
