...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM MDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Northwest winds around 10 mph.

* WHERE...Harding and Northern Perkins.

* WHEN...Until 5 AM MDT early this morning.

* IMPACTS...The high winds may damage roofs, small outbuildings, and
  signs. Power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles. Strong winds can cause
  blowing dust, reduced visibility, and flying debris.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...These winds are caused by a phenomena called
  a wake low, where a compact low pressure system develops behind a
  departing complex of thunderstorms. The strong winds can last up
  to a few hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Secure objects that could be blown around. Use extra caution when
traveling.
