.DISCUSSION...Clouds and light snow are expected today, with
highs in the 20s and 30s. Southeast winds of 5 to 15 mph will
become northeasterly through the afternoon. Minimum relative
humidity will be in the 60 to 80 percent range. These conditions
and widespread light snow cover will result in a low Grassland
Fire Danger today and tomorrow.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

The grassland fire danger index will reach the low category this
afternoon. Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture
content of grasses, and other dry organic material on the ground,
indicate that the probability of a fast moving fire is low.
Outdoor burning under these conditions can usually be performed
with reasonable safety precautions, but should be monitored.

The outlook for Sunday afternoon, The grassland fire danger index
will reach the low category.
