Variably cloudy skies are expected today with some showers and thunderstorms. Afternoon highs will range from the 60s in far northwestern South Dakota to the 80s over far southern South Dakota. Minimum afternoon relative humidities will range from 60s over northwestern South Dakota to the 40s over southern South Dakota. Winds will become north to northeast and increase to 15-25 mph with higher gusts.
