SOUTHWESTERN ZIEBACH...SOUTHEASTERN MEADE...NORTHEASTERN CUSTER...
NORTHWESTERN OGLALA LAKOTA...NORTHWESTERN JACKSON AND EASTERN
PENNINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH 1245 AM MDT...

At 1213 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles southwest of Bridger to 3 miles
northeast of Wall to near Red Shirt. Movement was northeast at 50
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Wall, Wasta, Scenic, Quinn, Owanka, Grindstone, Red Shirt, Creighton,
Bridger, Wicksville, Delta 9 Missile Silo, Grindstone Butte,
Pinnacles Ranger Station, and northwestern Badlands National Park.

This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 91
and 120.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 AM MDT for
southwestern and west central South Dakota.
