MEADE...NORTHWESTERN CUSTER...EASTERN LAWRENCE AND SOUTHWESTERN
PENNINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH 345 AM MDT...

At 249 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles southeast of Fruitdale to 3 miles east
of Rochford to 2 miles south of Jewel Cave National Monument.
Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Rapid City, Sturgis, Lead, Custer, Hill City, western Rapid Valley,
northwestern Ellsworth Air Force Base, Summerset, Black Hawk,
Deadwood, Whitewood, Johnson Siding, Newell, Nemo, Keystone, Nisland,
Piedmont, Saint Onge, Vale, and Central City.

This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 17
and 62.
