...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN OGLALA LAKOTA...
SOUTHERN JACKSON AND WESTERN BENNETT COUNTIES THROUGH 1145 PM MDT...

At 1118 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Porcupine, or 18 miles northeast of Pine Ridge, moving northeast at
25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Oglala
Lakota, southern Jackson and western Bennett Counties, including the
following locations... Pine Ridge Reservation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
