* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Custer County in southwestern South Dakota...
  Central Pennington County in west central South Dakota...

* Until 645 PM MDT.

* At 540 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Thompson
  Butte, or 19 miles southeast of Rapid City, moving northeast at 20
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
           roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  New Underwood, Farmingdale, Folsom, Caputa, Wicksville, Railroad
  Buttes and Thompson Butte.

This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 74
and 93.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
