...High Flows forecast to continue on Upper Sacramento River...

..Heavy rainfall across the region is resulting in high flows on the
upper Sacramento River. This will result in high action/monitor
stage and a few points to exceed flood stage. Please refer to CNRFC
webpage for further information with flooding.

Forecasts are based on present and forecasted meteorological and
hydrologic conditions at time of issuance.

Unlisted forecast points are expected to remain below monitor stage.
All those affected by river conditions should remain alert for rapid
changes and for possible forecast revisions.

Forecast to recede to near 6.5 FT tomorrow evening then forecast to
rise to near 8.0 FT Monday morning with continued rise expected.
 Monitor stage 22.0 ft, Flood stage 27.0

 Hamilton City 11/23 7:45 stage 146.0 ft
Forecast to fall below monitor stage of 142.0 FT this evening then
forecast to recede to near 132.5 FT Monday morning.
 Monitor stage 142.0 ft, Flood stage 147.0
Impact for Hamilton City...Near 144.0 feet, County Road 23 in Glenn
County closes east of RD 2140 levee as a result of water on roadway.
Near 145.1 feet, Water inundates Phase 2A restoration area north of
Hwy 32 bridge inside of levee; touches toe of levee.
Near 137.7 feet, West Sacramento Avenue and River Road north of Big
Chico Creek flood 1.5 hours after the Hamilton City gage reaches
137.7-138.0 feet.

Forecast to fluctuate near 113.5 FT into late tonight then forecast
to fall below monitor stage of 110.0 FT late tomorrow morning then
forecast to recede to near 102.0 FT Monday morning.
 Monitor stage 110.0 ft, Flood stage 114.0
Impact for Ord Ferry...Near 110.3 feet, Head cuts in 3Bs silt weir
start overflow into Butte Basin, flooding dips on Ord Ferry Road
west of River Road. Persistent flows at or above this level increase
flooding in Butte Basin. Ord Ferry Road and additional roads in
Glenn and Colusa counties are closed due to flooding.

below monitor stage of 88.5 FT late tomorrow morning then forecast
to recede to near 78.0 FT Monday morning.

to end overflow late tomorrow evening.
 Monitor stage 76.2 ft, Flood stage 83.8
Impact for Moulton Weir...Near 76.2 feet, Moulton Weir crest
elevation. Overflow begins into butte sink. River Road is flooded
and closed.

increasing to 4.8 FT late this evening then forecast to end overflow
Monday morning.
 Monitor stage 60.9 ft, Flood stage 70.1
Impact for Colusa Weir...Near 60.9 feet, Colusa Weir crest
elevation. Overflow begins into the Sutter Bypass.

Impact for Colusa Bridge...Near 65.0 feet, Water moves into the
parking lot of Loves Landing trailer park along east bank of river
inside levee.
Near 63.0 feet, Monitor Stage.

Present overflow depth is about 1.1 FT then overflow depth at weir
increasing to 1.5 FT this afternoon then overflow depth at weir
increasing to 1.8 FT late this afternoon.
 Monitor stage 44.1 ft, Flood stage 51.6
Impact for Tisdale Weir...Near 44.1 feet, Tisdale Weir crest
elevation. Overflow begins into the Tisdale Bypass. This water
eventually ends up in the Sutter Bypass.
