.DISCUSSION...Models continue to indicate critical days for fire
spread today and Monday. Given both days are nearly identical
regarding forecast RH, sustained winds, and expected gusts across
Mohave County- a Red Flag Warning is in effect for today and again
for Monday. Portions of the Southern Great Basin may hit RH and
wind speed criteria Monday evening that would result in rapid
wildfire starts and growth, however fuels remain below critical
thresholds. Temperatures are forecast to cool below normal on
Tuesday and remain seasonal on Wednesday before a big warmup late
in the week. No precipitation is expected over the next 7 days.
