TO WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR ESMERALDA, SOUTHERN NYE,
SOUTHWESTERN LINCOLN, AND CLARK COUNTIES...
.DISCUSSION...Elevated south-southwesterly winds with speeds
between 15 and 25 mph and gusts to 35 mph expected each afternoon
through the start of the work week. Afternoon relative humidities
will range from the upper-single-digits to the low-teens across
our northwestern zones, with greater RH values elsewhere.
Heightened risk of fire starts and spread continues into Sunday,
but with lowered forecast wind speeds and increased RH, opted out
of extending the Red Flag Warning.
