.DISCUSSION...Unsettled weather continues, with isolated to
scattered thunderstorms this afternoon, with the greatest
likelihood across northern Inyo County, the southwestern Great
Basin, and the Clark County mountains. Wetting rains will be
possible in these areas, though lightning strikes and erratic
gusty winds can also be expected with storms and any associated
outflow boundaries across the region. Storms today will diminish
after sunset, with additional, more isolated development expected
Thursday and Friday as the drying trend continues. Above normal
temperatures return this weekend along with widespread minRH under
20 percent and poor nocturnal recovery.
