.DISCUSSION...The warming and drying trend continues, with above
normal temperatures returning as min RHs fall to 5-15% across
lower elevations and 20-25% across the mountains through midweek.
Diurnal/terrain-driven 20ft winds around 5-10 mph are expected,
with occasional higher gusts in the afternoons. There is a very
low chance of isolated thunderstorms today, mainly over the
southern Great Basin and northwestern Arizona, with gusty winds
and lightning strikes the main concerns. Storm chances return
late week into the weekend as monsoonal moisture increases.
