.DISCUSSION...Southerly winds will develop this afternoon with
gusts of 20-30 mph across much of the area. Extremely dry
conditions will continue with daytime RH in the single digits and
limited recovery overnight. Continued critical conditions with
breezy south winds and low RH is expected Friday and for parts of
the region on Saturday. Temperatures will be well above normal
today before gradually cooling starting Friday and continuing
through the weekend.
