.DISCUSSION...Isoalted-to-scattered showers and thunderstorms will
be possible in the higher terrain of southern Nevada, northwestern
Arizona, and southeastern California today. Storms will dissipate
after sunset, with erratic outflow winds, lightning, and localized
moderate-to-heavy rain as the primary threats. Storm coverage will
decrease each day through the weekend as moisture decreases. Afternoon
RHs will bottom out in the 10 to 25% range for much of the area
with overnight recoveries in the 20 to 50% range. Above normal
temperatures will continue through next week.
