.DISCUSSION...Showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible
this afternoon and again tomorrow afternoon along the Sierra crest
and across the southern Great Basin as a trough of low-pressure
moves across the region. As this trough shifts east by mid-week,
drier conditions will develop. Afternoon breezes will accompany
this system, but no significant winds are anticipated.
Temperatures will gradually warm throughout the week, with
readings reaching seasonal norms by mid-week.
