A REDEVELOPING MARINE LAYER WILL HELP SPREAD COOLING INLAND TODAY
THOUGH HIGHS WILL REMAIN A FEW DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. COOLER WITH
BREEZY WEST WINDS IN THE PASSES AND DESERT SLOPES SUNDAY,
TRANSITIONING TO ANOTHER ROUND OF WEAK TO LOCALLY MODERATE SANTA
ANA WINDS ON MONDAY. WIND GUSTS OF 30-45 MPH ARE EXPECTED IN AND
BELOW THE PASSES, CANYONS, FOOTHILLS AND LOCALLY INTO THE VALLEYS,
WITH ISOLATED GUSTS CLOSER TO 50 MPH NEAR THE CAJON PASS AND  SANTA
ANA MOUNTAINS. OFFSHORE WINDS WEAKEN AND TRANSITION BACK  ONSHORE ON
TUESDAY. THERE IS A 20-35% OF LIGHT PRECIPITATION  WEDNESDAY MORNING
THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING, THOUGH CONFIDENCE IN  TIMING.
PRECIPITATION COULD LAST INTO FRIDAY (10% CHANCE), BUT  WILL MORE
LIKELY BE FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER ROUND OF WEAK SANTA ANA  WINDS LATE IN
THE WEEK.

DRY AND TRANQUIL WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO PERSIST INTO
EARLY NEXT WEEK DESPITE A WEAK WEATHER SYSTEM PASSING JUST TO THE
NORTH OF THE AREA ON MONDAY. EXPECT SLIGHTLY ABOVE NORMAL
TEMPERATURES THROUGH SUNDAY BEFORE COOLING INTO THE NORMAL RANGE
STARTING MONDAY. DAILY MINRHS WILL CONTINUE TO RANGE FROM 25-35%
THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK WITH GOOD TO VERY GOOD OVERNIGHT  RECOVERIES
OF 60-80%. WINDS WILL OVERALL REMAIN LIGHT THROUGH THE  PERIOD
EXCEPT FOR A PERIOD OF NORTHERLY BREEZY CONDITIONS ACROSS  THE LOWER
