.DISCUSSION...Temperatures will continue a slow downward trend
the next couple of days, with increasing moisture allowing for
good nocturnal recovery tonight and Tuesday night as RHs rebound
to around 45% tonight and 60% Tuesday night. Min RHs will be around
25% Tuesday and 35% Wednesday, with 20ft winds generally remaining
light and diurnal/terrain-driven. The primary concern for wildfire
ops continues to be thunderstorm potential, with a 30% chance for
thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening, increasing to 60%
Wednesday afternoon and evening. Lightning strikes, erratic gusty
winds, and wetting rains can be expected from any storms that
develop in the vicinity of the fire. Ventilation rates will trend
downward from very good on Tuesday to good Wednesday, and marginal
overnight, lending to concern for near-surface visibility and air
quality reductions due to smoke.
