.DISCUSSION...Ongoing showers and thunderstorms will continue off
to the east of the Diamond Fire through sunset. During this time,
erratic outflow winds from these storms may impact the fire.
Should one of these storms move over the fire, frequent lightning
will be a hazard. Outside of any convective influence, surface winds
will remain relatively light, shifting to the south overnight. Hot
and dry conditions are on tap for Tuesday with afternoon relative
humidities bottoming out in the upper teens. Surface winds will
transition from southerly to southwesterly around mid-morning.
