...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 9 PM PDT MONDAY...

.DISCUSSION...Hot and dry conditions will continue through
tomorrow with afternoon relative humidities bottoming out in the
single digits and poor overnight recoveries. Light southerly
winds are expected this afternoon. These winds will remain
relatively light, swinging around to the southwest overnight. Afternoon
high temperatures will be in the mid-to-upper 80s today and
tomorrow with overnight low temperatures dropping into the
upper-60s to lower-70s. Beyond Monday, temperatures will decrease
slightly during the middle of the week. Moisture will push into
the area late this week. At this time guidance shows around a 15
to 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms on Friday and Saturday.
