.DISCUSSION...One more day of quiet weather before an area of
low pressure brings increasing chances of snow to the Sierra.
Snow is expected to start Thursday morning and remain light
before increasing during the late afternoon and overnight. The
heaviest snow is expected Friday with 8 to 12 inches possible.
Gusty winds are also expected Wednesday afternoon into Thursday
with gusts to around 30 mph on the ridges, but between 10-20 mph
near the burn area. Unsettled weather will remain through the
first half of next week.
