.DISCUSSION...The main concerns through this evening are thunderstorms
impacting the SAR location. There is a 60-70% chance of thunderstorms
through early evening, with activity expected to weaken and move to the
east after sunset this evening. Brief heavy rain and localized flooding,
erratic gusty winds and lightning strikes can be expected from storms
that develop, with potential for gusty outflow winds and lightning
strikes even from distant storms over the White Mountains. Light showers
may linger through late evening, with dry conditions expected overnight.
Outside of storms, winds will be between 5-10 mph, following typical
terrain-driven patterns.
