.DISCUSSION...Light southwest last trough the day with the
potential for gustier upslope winds possible in the mid afternoon.
Slight chances for storms begin in the mid morning and build into
the afternoon as monsoonal moisture filters into the region.
Storms will cause locally stronger gusts as well as chances for
lightning. Outflow from storms in the distance may also affect
winds around the fire. The flow of monsoonal moisture will offer
improving humidities over the next few days along with cooling
temperatures. Daytime ventilation rates will be fair, mitigating
near- surface smoke concerns, but overnight and early morning
smoke looks to stick to the slopes.
