The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  San Bernardino County in southern California...

* Until 545 PM PDT.

* At 502 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles west of
  Amboy, or 30 miles north of Twentynine Palms, moving north at 25
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Mainly rural areas of San Bernardino County between Ludlow and
  Amboy.

This includes Interstate 40 in California between mile markers 53 and
71.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Report severe weather to your nearest law enforcement agency or the
National Weather Service office in Las Vegas NV.
