.DISCUSSION...A strong upper level low is moving south through the
Bering Strait and will move to Nunivak Island by Tuesday
afternoon. This has brought strong northerly winds along the West
Coast. With this low and repeated shortwaves from the east, we can
expect there to be daily afternoon thunderstorms from Galena east
with a possibility of seeing up to 0.1 and 0.2 inches of rain
from these storms. Temperatures will be warming through midweek,
but luckily, temperatures, winds, and RHs will remain well clear
of critical levels.
