.DISCUSSION...
There will be another chance to see some isolated thunderstorms
this afternoon in the Kuskokwim valley and middle Yukon. Ridging
will build in later this evening and will dry out the Western
Interior this weekend. Daytime temperatures will push into the low
60s with minimum RH values in the 30s. An approaching Bering Sea
low will begin to bring gusty winds by Sunday evening. This low
will bring rain showers Monday and Tuesday to much of the Western
Interior. The heaviest rainfall amounts will be in the Y-K Delta
and Middle Yukon with rain totals up to 1/3".
