.DISCUSSION...Strong north winds and cooler temps will blast
down along the coast from today through Mon. In the Interior,
remnant shortwave energy may bring widely scattered thunderstorms to the Lower
Koyukuk Valley this afternoon and evening.
A shortwave trough from the east will bring widely scattered thunderstorms
to the Upper Kuskokwim Valley on Sunday. A slight chance of thunderstorms
on Monday as well for inland areas. A slight cooling trend is
expected Sunday into next week with conditions remaining well clear of any critical levels.
