.DISCUSSION...
Wet conditions expected once again with some areas receiving up
to 0.50" or more rainfall especially in the higher terrain north
and east of Galena. Isolated storms are expected for the southern
half of the Seward Peninsula and McGrath north towards Ambler
today. Cooler conditions will continue for several more days, with
most areas south of the Brooks Range seeing high temperatures in
the mid to upper 60s through Thursday. Additional rounds of
showers moving in from the east are possible tonight into Friday
across the Western Interior. Heavy rain and wetting rains are
likely again Thursday when periods of rain move into the Western
Interior with another chance for 0.50" of rain or more.
