...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM SATURDAY TO 9 AM
AKST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Blowing snow expected. Dangerous wind chills as low as 50
  below zero. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...North Slopes of the Western Alaska Range and Upper
  Kuskokwim Valley.

* WHEN...From 3 AM Saturday to 9 AM AKST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to blowing
  snow. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches and cause
  isolated power outages.

Additional Details: Northeasterly wind gusts of 30 to 50 mph are
expected to create extended periods of blowing snow. There may be
periods where gusts don`t reach all the way to the valley floor and
blowing snow briefly subsides.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with
your vehicle. The latest road conditions for the state you are
calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

  below zero. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...Eastern Norton Sound and Nulato Hills, Lower Yukon and
  Innoko Valleys, and Middle Yukon Valley.

* WHEN...From 3 AM Saturday to 9 AM AKST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce
  visibility to as low as 1/2 mile at times. Gusty winds could bring
  down tree branches and result in isolated power outages.

Use caution while traveling, especially in open areas. The latest
