...River Statement For The Cahaba River...

.The Cahaba River at Marion Junction has fallen below action stage.


The Cahaba River at Marion Junction.
* At 8:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 13.5 feet.
* Action stage is 15.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 36.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 7.6 feet Tuesday
  morning.
* Impact...At 15.0 feet...Flooding around Oakmulgee Creek begins and
  cattle need to be moved to higher ground. Overflow of pasture lands
  increases at stages above 20 feet.
