...NWS Damage Survey for 06/18/25 Tornado Event...

Two brief tornadoes caused damage west and northwest of
Lafayette. These tornadoes showed signs of skipping along their
path with significant straight line wind damage along a path
stretching across much of the county. Only two touchdowns were
definitive with only weak signs of circulation along the remainder
of the damage path.

Survey Summary:
The first tornado of the event impacted mostly trees in a valley
before moving up a hill and crossing 850W. A home in the path
suffered very minor damage with the tornado dissipating in a
field just south of 200s.

Survey Summary:
The second tornado caused tree damage and minor roof damage to a
home on 500N. Drone footage showed clear convergence in a grass
field and a touchdown in a field of corn north of 500N. The
tornado then downed a few additional trees before dissipating in
a field to the northeast.
