For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Erie

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...
A trough averaging 29.60 inches will persist over Lake Erie today
between two deeper areas of low pressure near Lake Michigan and
New York City. The eastern low pressure will become dominant
tonight and deepen to 29.30 inches by Friday morning while
drifting west near the New York Pennsylvania border. This low
pressure will then shift northeast towards the Canadian Maritimes
starting Friday night, with a weak ridge of high pressure 30.10
inches building in from the southwest Saturday night.
