The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...

  Nearshore Waters from Winthrop Harbor to Wilmette Harbor...
  Open Waters from Winthrop Harbor to Wilmette Harbor out to Mid
Lake...

* Until 615 PM CDT.

* At 457 PM CDT, a gust front was located along a line extending
  from Pleasant Prairie to 6 nm east of Kenosha to 10 nm northeast
  of Winthrop Harbor, moving south southeast at 25 knots. An
  isolated cloud to water lightning strike is possible with a storm
  located along the gust front.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater from the north.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Winthrop Harbor and Waukegan Harbor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
