A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
Lake Michigan from Port Washington WI to North Point Light WI 5 nm
off shore to mid lake...

At 1008 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 19 nm west of Muskegon Light to
30 nm southwest of White Lake Pier Heads to 23 nm east of North Pt.
Lt., moving southeast at 30 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
