...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Western Kentucky, southwest Indiana, and far southern and
  southeast Illinois.

* WHEN...From 6 PM CST Saturday to 9 AM CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are
possible. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood
  with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Due to recent rounds of rain and thunderstorms, creeks and
streams in the Flood Watch area are running high and soils
are very saturated. A round of heavy rain and thunderstorms
will move through the Flood Watch area tonight through Sunday
morning, bringing rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 2.5 inches, with
locally higher totals over 3 inches possible. This heavy rain
will lead to widespread nuisance flooding and isolated areas
    of flash flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
