.DISCUSSION...
High pressure will maintain dry conditions through Labor Day with
afternoon RH`s falling into the 30-35% range. Smoke dispersion
will be best today (fair to good) thanks to deeper mixing and
northeasterly transport winds around 10 mph. E/NE winds become
lighter the next couple of days and the mixing depth also
decreases especially by Tuesday, resulting in poor dispersion.
Wetting rain chances return Tuesday through early Thursday with
scattered showers and storms. A strong cold front moves through
Wednesday night, ushering in a much cooler and drier airmass late
in the week which may be reinforced next weekend behind a
secondary frontal passage on Friday.
