Some may have strong gusty winds and heavy rain, but the overall risk for severe weather is marginal. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday A prolonged period of hot weather is forecast to begging Saturday and last well into next week. Heat indices are expected to be around 105 degrees with little chance for relief. An Extreme Heat Warning for areas along and south of a line from Oskaloosa to Clay Center will go into effect Saturday afternoon.
