This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of east central,
north central, and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible through tonight.
Some may have strong gusty winds and heavy rain, but the overall
risk for severe weather is marginal.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A prolonged period of hot weather is forecast to begging Saturday
and last well into next week. Heat indices are expected to be
around 105 degrees with little chance for relief. An Extreme Heat
Warning for areas along and south of a line from Oskaloosa to Clay
Center will go into effect Saturday afternoon. An Extreme Heat
Watch is posted for the northern areas beginning Monday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters should not be needed this afternoon or tonight.
