At 628 PM, National Weather Service radar detected isolated showers
and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain generally east of a line
from Bartlesville to McAlester. Thunderstorms with locally heavy
rain were located in Latimer and Mayes counties in Oklahoma and
Benton county in Arkansas. The precipitation was in the Bentonville,
Rogers and Fayetteville area. Movement was to the east at around 25
mph. The average amount where it rained last hour was around one
tenth of an inch with maximum amounts of an inch and a half to two
inches. Coverage and intensity remained about the same as last hour.
The Tulsa area forecast for early this evening, mostly cloudy then
becoming partly cloudy, a chance of showers and thunderstorms with
temperatures 67 to 73 degrees and northwest winds up to 10 mph.
