.DISCUSSION...A brief ridge of high pressure will build over the
region behind an upper low pulling away across the Four Corners.
Temperatures will climb several degrees above normal by Monday and
persist through the coming week. On Monday and Tuesday there will be
a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms along the southern
Sierra, and possibly the mountains of central Nevada as a weak area
of low pressure moves into southern California.
Note: Thunderstorms imply gusty and erratic winds.
